The charpoy is a traditional Indian bed often used to sleep outside in hot weather. These are great as a daybed, covered in pillows for lounging, or even a coffee table. Handcrafted in solid teak. Please note old cracks, scratches, worn lacquer, distortions of the beams, or oxidation of the wood are all important signs of authenticity. During the restoration, great care is taken to preserve as much patina as possible.
