I put these ikat panels together on my last trip to Uzbekistan and backed them in happy Russian prints from the local market. I think graphically they make smashing wall hangings. Note the loops so you can just pin them up. This fabric is magical - first the silk thread is made, then washed, then warped. A pattern is drawn on the silk, bound, then dyed. Next comes the shafting, then the weaving, finishing and calendaring!
