The charpoy is a traditional Indian bed often used to sleep outside in hot weather. Our charpoys are great to use as a daybed, covered in pillows for lounging, or even a coffee table. Please note old cracks, scratches, worn lacquer, distortions of the beams, or oxidation of the wood are all important signs of authenticity. During the restoration, great care is taken to preserve as much patina as possible.
Please note wear is consistent with vintage furniture and there might be some imperfections. We think this only adds to the charm and authenticity.
